Korean expert, giving lectures and participating in academic events. The
co-participant in the currents research team Prof., Kim Won-hoi on April 5th
2011, gave lecture to the students from the Faculty of Humanities of
the Macedonian university on “Korea, the Koreans and the Korean Language
Education”.

is member of the current research team, presented a paper related to Macedonia, under the title “Conflicts of Human Civilization

Raising of the rating of Korean Studies and
Korean Language

|
When the current research was
initiated in December 2010, Korean studies (the lectures in Korean language)
were rated third module(제3외국어) among the foreign languages.
As the research was
conducted, thanks to the activities and the support of the research team,
Korean studies and Korean language’s rating was raised to second foreign
module(제2외국어). Accordingly, in the new curriculum the number of classes was increased
and in 2011 more students, in comparison with the previous year, studied
Korean. The following document is the official order of the University for
Korean language as the second foreign module.

Thanks to the 2 years research activities,
Korean language became the 2nd foreign module of Macedonian
university. It means that Korean language got the chance to become the
separate major of independent foreign language department in Macedonian
university and can attract more attention from Macedonian students and
people.
