Macedonian Student in Korea
|
Every semester from 2011
|
Relevance to the Project
|
Macedonian students studying
in Korea: Starting from the first semester of 2011, every semester one student
from the Korean language program at the Macedonian university was invited to
Hankuk University of Foreign Studies as the exchange student.
|
|
Date
|
Every semester from 2011
|
|
Notes
|
They
study Korean language at the centre for Korean language and culture at Hankuk
University of Foreign Studies for one semester. If they want to participate
to another classes,
they can choose them. During their stay in
HUFS, they make many Korean friends and get the inspirations on Korean
language and culture. The students who
have been acquainted with Korean
culture(through reading literature, viewing films, listening to music,
visiting exhibitions, organized events, meeting with Korean
artists, poets, writers, professors and others, as well as stays in the
country) spread information about it and popularize it in the whole society.
The greater the number of students studying a given language and getting
acquainted with the culture of the native speakers of that language, the
greater the number of those who fail in love with the culture of that people
and the people itself.

held during June 04. – 10. 2012. Macedonian experts first presented articles in the conference. After
then, they went to many places in Korea as the cultural field research. By
this field research, they got and acquainted with the Korean culture and
began to understand the similarity and diversity between Macedonian and Korean
culture. This will be useful, because they will teach Korean language and
culture more realistic and practically. And they will try to establish the
Korean language department as soon as possible.

Notes
|
This is the way to disseminate
truths and knowledge about a Korean culture that is more
spontaneous and much for successful than the traditional way through official
mass media or through official channels of the diplomatic and other missions
to foreign countries.
